How often should you detail your car in Arizona?

Arizona is one of the hardest climates in the country on cars. UV exposure fades paint and cracks leather, dust storms micro-scratch clear coat, and monsoon season leaves water spots that etch if they sit.
The realistic schedule
For a daily driver parked outside: a maintenance wash every two weeks, a full detail every three to four months, and paint protection renewed twice a year. Garage-kept cars can stretch each interval by about half.
What matters most
If you only do one thing, protect the paint before summer. A sealant or ceramic coating applied in spring does more for resale value than any amount of washing in October.
